This is one of the first stages. Creating characters based on the children's designs which are previously drawn. We build puppets using clay or color cards which will be then animated.
The animation stage. Here the children get to animate their puppets using a kids' friendly stop motion animation software. They get to bring their stories to life and make their first film!
Here is one of the wonderful sets and two clay puppets made by a very talented child in one of my workshops. This is just one single frame out of the many the children get to capture over the making of their animated film.
